Day 1 Arrive Paramaribo

Day 2 Paramaribo Deep Dive

Fort Zeelandia, the central market, and a Javanese or Hindustani lunch reflecting Suriname's multicultural heritage.

Day 3 Brownsberg Nature Park

Day trip (or overnight) to Brownsberg — waterfall trails, howler monkeys, and views over the flooded Brokopondo reservoir.

Day 4 Return & Depart

Morning back in Paramaribo for last souvenirs before your onward flight.

Suriname in Depth — City, Rainforest & River

Extends into the Central Suriname Nature Reserve and the Upper Suriname River Maroon villages for a fuller interior experience.

Day 3 Fly or Drive to Central Suriname Nature Reserve

Transfer to Raleighvallen on the Coppename River — afternoon boat trip and first rainforest walk.

Day 4 Voltzberg Dome Sunrise Hike

Pre-dawn climb to the granite dome summit for sunrise over unbroken rainforest canopy.

Day 5 Transfer to the Upper Suriname River

Travel to a Maroon community lodge — an afternoon introduction to Saramaccaner river culture and wood-carving traditions.

Day 6 Maroon Village Immersion

Full day with local guides — river travel by dugout canoe, craft demonstrations, and a village visit.

Day 7 Return to Paramaribo & Depart
