Granite towers above the end of the world
Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia is one of the most spectacular wilderness areas on earth. The park's defining landmarks are the three granite towers — the Torres — which rise nearly 2,900 metres above the surrounding steppe. The famous W Trek and the more demanding O Circuit take hikers through a landscape of glacial lakes, hanging glaciers, condor-soaring peaks, and pampas alive with guanacos and foxes.
